Our mission is to provide CERT training, tools, supplies, and information to City of Dallas residents to be utilized in making our community prepared and to adequately respond in the event of an emergency.
We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization which helps to:
Plan to attend our 3rd annual Dining Day at Mi Camino Restaurante, 3830 Northwest Highway (just east of Marsh). We receive 10% of every check (food and drink) as a donation to Friends of Dallas CERT! A great way to support us and have a wonderful meal.
We have a new logo. This reflects the name change announced late 2018. While our name changed, our focus will remain on supporting the Dallas CERT program and the surrounding cities as we prepare our part of Texas.
We have now expanded our CERT Equipment Program to recognized and reward CERT volunteers based on the hours they dedicate.
This complements our CERT Subsidy Program which was implemented mid-2018.
Full details on these programs can be found on the tab for CERT Subsidy and Reward Program.
