Our mission is to provide CERT tools, supplies, and information to be utilized in making our community prepared and to adequately respond in the event of an emergency.
We:
support preparedness programs and training

collaborate and support the City of Dallas to prepare our part of Texas
New for 2015!
We are doing something new--finding opportunities for Dallas CERT and their families and friends to volunteer in our community together!
These differ from the usual opportunities announceed by the CERT Program:
And if you want to receive credit hours for the event, the City of Dallas CERT Program Manager will give them to you!
This is an opportunity to help our community in various ways, get to know each other better, and get the word out about CERT.
OUR FIRST OPPORTUNITY IS APRIL 12 for the SPCA STRUTT YOUR MUTT event. If you'd like more information about it and sign up to volunteer, click below. Remember to tell them you are a Dallas CERT.
Thanks!
The Board of Directors unanimously established a permanent fund--the CERT Assistance Fund--to assist CERT volunteers who experience a catastrophic emergency. The fund is meant to assist them by a grant towards their recovery. Funds are collected by Friends of Dallas CERT and forwarded to the family. Please donate to us during North Texas Giving Day. You can schedule your donation now! Thanks!
We have now expanded our CERT Equipment Program to recognized and reward CERT volunteers based on the hours they dedicate.
This complements our CERT Subsidy Program which was implemented mid-2018.
Full details on these programs can be found on the tab for CERT Subsidy and Reward Program.
And we have changed the requirements for the Subsidy Program. We made the section on other subsidy program participation optional. Check out the updated form:
